We wanted to send a quick update for you all. There has been some rioting in Cap Haitien for the past couple of days. Fortunately, we have been safe and far from the city, enjoying our time at the beach.
However, the fighting has escalated today and American Airlines has cancelled all flights to Cap Haitien for the day. So, we will not be able to get to our scheduled layover in Chicago tonight. We are working with the team on the ground here and the Hands Up for Haiti team in the US to reschedule our flights and keep abreast of the situation. We are safe and will continue to be. We are monitoring the state department alerts, as well. They are advising us to shelter in place, which we are gladly doing here at the beach where we are not only safe but well cared for. We miss you all and hope to get home as soon as it is safe to do so. We will keep you updated. Molly and Abigail
